Linsey McDonald

Linsey has worked in Law since completing her A Level studies and began life as paralegal in 2004.  Linsey qualified as a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2008 as she did not take the traditional route to qualify as lawyer, having worked full time and studying part-time.

Linsey has experience in representing clients in divorce, finances, private law children proceedings and domestic violence.  Linsey’s particular expertise are in domestic violence cases and private law children proceedings.

Linsey has provided regular pro bono “Well Being” clinics to the Local Authority which allows vulnerable families and their children to have access to expert advice.

Linsey’s commitment to the law and her clients was recognised when she was nominated for, and won, the Family Law Award for Chartered Legal Executive of the Year in 2019.

Linsey has been involved in charity events which have included a 15,000-sky dive and several black-tie events, which has assisted in raising over £120,000 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation and Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Linsey joined King Street Solicitors in September 2021.
