Francesca Greenfield was one of the founding partners at King Street Solicitors LLP.
Francesca graduated from Oxford University in 2003. She was called to the Bar in 2005 and qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
Francesca is a specialist in all aspects of children law. She has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme since 2012. Her scheme membership means that she has shown, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that she has and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of children law.
Francesca has held higher rights of audience in civil proceedings since 2014. She is one of only around 5% of solicitors to hold her higher rights of audience, meaning that she can provide continuity of representation to clients at every stage of Court proceedings, including in the appeal courts.
Francesca was appointed as a Deputy District Judge on the North Eastern Circuit in September 2021.
Francesca has focused throughout her career on developing her expertise in child care law. She represents children, parents and members of the extended family within care proceedings and represents children within private law proceedings. Francesca regularly represents parents with learning difficulties and has been instructed by the Official Solicitor to represent parents who lack capacity to conduct proceedings. She is known for her practical, clear and empathetic advice.
