She is also one of only around 5% of solicitors to hold her higher rights of audience meaning that she can provide continuity of representation to clients at every stage of Court proceedings including in the appeal courts.
Fran has focused throughout her career on developing her expertise in child care law. She represents children, parents and members of the extended family within care proceedings and is a persuasive and articulate advocate. Fran regularly represents parents with learning difficulties and has been instructed by the Official Solicitor to represent parents who lack capacity to conduct proceedings. She is known for her practical, clear and empathetic advice to parents.
Fran is happy to accept agency instructions to undertake advocacy.
Fran has been shortlisted for the Family Law Award in the 2017 Yorkshire Legal Awards.
