Andrew Gullett is our experienced Private Client Solicitor and specialises in the following:
- The administration of estates (Probate)
- Inheritance tax advice on larger estates
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (Finance and Care)
- Protecting part of the family home from care fees (Protective Property Trust Wills)
- Applications to the Court of Protection for the appointment of a Deputy (where a person has already lost mental capacity)
Andrew qualified as a Solicitor in 2001.
He’s proud of his Yorkshire roots, having been born and brought up on a farm near Halifax. It’s perhaps this upbringing which has helped him in his straight talking and friendly approach to clients.
He is passionate about helping the older client, especially those who have been diagnosed with dementia. He has been an active of local Dementia Action Alliances for several years and is also an accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (www.SFE.legal).
He is a confident public speaker and will happily give free talks to any local groups on any of the above topics. Please contact him directly for further information about this.
Many of the above services can be offered on a fixed price basis. Please telephone him if you would like a quotation, or for a free initial telephone consultation.
Home visits can normally be offered at no extra charge.
