Could you be a Dementia Friend?

As a Private Client Solicitor I am very passionate about ensuring everyone is looked after and that they are armed with the right legal advice but giving legal advice is not the only string to my bow.

I have been working closely with the Alzheimer’s Society in Wakefield and organised for the staff here at King Street Solicitors to receive training and for everyone to be recognised as a Dementia Friend.

We as a firm consider ourselves part of the Wakefield Dementia Friendly Community and pride ourselves in offering a supportive, understanding, patient and personal yet professional service to people living with dementia as well as their family, friends and carers.

The training was provided by Wakefield Alzheimer’s Society and was extremely well received by all of the staff that took part so I would like say a big thank you and well done to Jill and her team as they do a fantastic job in supporting and advising people living with dementia.

To top off the day and to ease everyone into the training lunch was also served courtesy of ‘Deli Central’ in Wakefield.

Thanks again to the Alzheimer’s Society and Deli Central.
